Tips for a successful Wedding Dance:

- Start dance lessons as soon as possible, allowing you time to feel confident and ready for your “1st Dance”. This way is won’t become a last minute stress on the “to-do” list.  A good time frame is between 3-5 months prior to the wedding.

-Find a song that is meaningful to both the Bride AND Groom.  It will make the experience that much more memorable and enjoyable.

- Decide if you want only the Bride & Groom to dance, or if you want to invite guests to join you on the floor.  If only the Bride & Groom, have your song be about 2-2 1/2 minutes long.  If you wish to invite guests out, the song should be between 3- 3 1/2 minutes long.

- While in the lesson it is extremely helpful to videotape and take notes during or after.  Make sure to ask any questions you have during the lesson.  No question is silly or dumb.

- Brides & Groom’s: Practice your dance in the Wedding Dress Shoes you will actually be wearing on the big day.  This allows you to break them in and get used to how they feel when you dance.
